Heavy equipment began the process of removing derailed train cars in Mansfield on Friday.
Officials said the derailment did not cause any injuries and the cleanup effort is expected to take several days.
Mansfield Fire Chief John Roache said the rear 13 cars detached and 10 derailed. People within a half mile are asked to shelter in place.
